The Venus de Willendorf, Jenny Saville’s lusciously fleshy bodies and Lucien Freud’s “Benefits Supervisor Sleeping” as seen in the header above, are gorgeous examples of the human form flaunted. Yet, fashion in 2010 does not want to be as brazen. Well, not all fashion. There are trailbrazers and people who just do what fits, for everyone or anyone. And, as a fashionable “Fat Sue”, I will go to great lengths to seek what’s hip hot for ladies of size. I don’t want to spend a lot of time obsessing over gorgeous frocks that don’t fit, but sometimes they will be too beautiful to ignore. And, as a jeweler hobbyist, i will never forget the accessories: the long-held saving grace of stylish women of size everywhere. Please enjoy and participate, just don’t hate.
